Marie Mueller, 97, died on Saturday, August 26, after a brief illness. She was born in Malden, Massachusetts, and was a long time resident of Reading, Massachusetts. Everyone enjoyed the beautiful gardens that Marie spent hours cultivating, taking pride in the beauty they proved for her and her neighbors.Marie was predeceased by her loving husband Bill and is survived by her children, Mardi Kontos and her husband Yanni, and Marilyn Landau and her husband Tom. She was the grandmother of Andonis, Nicole, and Melina Kontos and Michael, Paul and Laura Landau as well as four great grandchildren, Brianna Kontos, and Timothy, Nora, and Madeline Landau.A Funeral Mass Celebrating Marie's Eternal Life will be held on Saturday, September 2, at 10 am in Saint Agnes Church, 186 Woburn St., Reading.
