
Mary (Tabor) Fuller, a resident of Reading for 55 years, passed away at the Woburn Nursing Center on May 6. She was 89 years of age. Mary was born in Providence, Rhode Island, on May 22, 1927, the daughter of the late Wilford C. and Alice (Gorman) Tabor.
Mary was a retired Registered Dietician and worked at both the Aberjona Nursing Home in Winchester and the Woburn Nursing Center in Woburn. She was a Camp Fire Leader for many years while her daughter was growing up. She was a frequent visitor of the Reading Public Library and was an active member of the Word of Mouth Book Club. She was also an active participant at the Reading Senior Center. Mary and her late husband Ed will be remembered for rescuing several elder golden retrievers via the Yankee Golden Retriever Rescue. She will also be remembered as an avid cook and baker.
Mary was the beloved wife of the late Edward F. Fuller, Jr. and devoted mother of John E. Fuller and his wife Beth Burleigh Fuller of Reading, and Susan Woolsey and her husband Jacob Roberts of Jacksonville, FL. She was the loving grandmother of Cameron and Alex Fuller, Sara Woolsey, and Jacob Roberts. She was the sister of the late Clifford Tabor and his wife Dorcas.

A Memorial Service celebrating Mary’s life will be held at the Douglass, Edgerley and Bessom Funeral Home, 25 Sanborn St. (corner of Woburn St.), Reading, on Saturday, June 3, at 12 pm. A visitation will be held prior to the service from 10-12. Burial is private.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Mary’s memory to the Reading Public Library Foundation, P.O. Box 96 Reading, MA 01867.
