Maryann Tordiglione Passes Away
Reading resident grew up in North End, spent time in Las Vegas.

Maryann "May" (Cangemi) Tordiglione, of Reading, formerly of Medford, Las Vegas and the North End of Boston, passed away on Friday, July 6th at the Kaplan Family Hospice House, surrounded by her family.
Born in Boston, she is the daughter of the late Salvatore and Marianne (Baudanza) Cangemi.
May grew up in Boston's North End and was a graduate of Julie Billiart High School. She was an avid reader and enjoyed playing Bingo. May will be remembered by her expertise in the kitchen. She was a talented cook and welcoming to everyone who came into her home. May spent many years living in Las Vegas and enjoyed every minute of it. Her greatest joy came from being a mother to her children and grandmother to her grandchildren. She welcomed everyone that came into her home and was like a second mother to many. She will be truly missed by her loving family and her many friends.

May is the Beloved wife of the late Vincent Tordiglione. Loving Mother of Elaine Tordiglione, Dana McKenzie and her husband Stephen, Sandra Echevarria and her husband Frank, Maria Allan and the late Vincent M. Tordiglione. Cherished grandmother of Angela McKenzie, Katie Allan and Jessie Allan. Devoted daughter of the late Salvatore and Marianne (Baudanza) Cangemi. Loving sister of the late Antoinina Cangemi and the late Giacomo Cangemi. Dear and loving aunt to many nieces and nephews and friend to many.
A Funeral Mass Celebrating Maryann's Eternal Life will be held at St. Patrick's Church, 71 Central St., Stoneham, on Thursday, July 12th at 10 am. Interment will be in St. Michael's Cemetery, Boston.
Family and friends are cordially invited to gather and share memories with Maryann's family on Wednesday, July 11th from 5-9 pm in the Barile Family Funeral Home, 482 Main St. (Rt. 28), Stoneham.
