Favorite Movie: Any 80's John Hughes movie

Favorite restaurant: Right now, I am in love with Ristorante Pavarotti. It's such a comfy cozy place, awesome authentic Italian food and just way too convenient!

Fun fact about yourself: Prior to having children, I spent my weekends bartending at the famous Jake Ivory's piano bar on Lansdowne Street; many nights I'd join the dueling pianists and sing 'The Devil Went Down to Georgia' up on the piano. Jake's has since closed but I made some life long friends during my time there.

Another fun fact: I grew up working in a sub shop ('grinders' where I come from), and ended up marrying a man who also grew up working in a sub shop. He now owns it- DiBlasi's, in Everett.

How long have you lived in Reading?: We moved to Reading in 2008 so we are fairly new to the town. My husband is from Medford and his family's first reaction was that we were moving 'so far away', (funny considering I am from Western Massachusetts, and my family is still there)

Why Reading?: We moved to Reading because of its reputation of having an incredible school system and for its small town feel. I absolutely love it here and have been recruiting my friends and family to move to Reading ever since we made the move. We have met some wonderful people and I am excited to watch my kids grow up in Reading and be part of the community.
