Name: Malinda Leone

Family: I'm getting married in June to my fiance, Eric.

Why Reading:It's a good community... I've had friends who've grown up in this area, and coming from Somerville, which is the city I grew up in, it was a very nice change. It's close enough to everything, and not too far from Boston.

How did you get into pet grooming: I started my sophomore year of high school. I went to a school that offered animal behavior and science as a vocational class. We groomed the faculty's dogs once a week.

Hobbies: I wouldn't call myself an adrenaline junkie, but I have a motorcycle; I love riding. I've been bungee jumping in Australia, skydiving, zip lining, surfing. I pretty much just try to do everything.

Favorite Music: Country is really growing on me. In the past year or two, I've really gotten into country.

Favorite Books: I think The Secret by Rhonda Byrne is one that I'd always go back and read.

Favorite Movies: My favorite movie of all time would have to be The Fox and the Hound. Any time I'm babysitting, I always use that as an excuse to watch it.

Fun Fact: Ill try anything once, and if i like it ill do it again!
I like to do a lot of fund raising work, and A lot of it involves animals. I've done some work with the Great Dog Rescue of New England. I've trained and fostered for Kitty Connection out of Medford, and I'm really excited for the Paws for Cure Walk that's done every year. I've always done the walk, but this is my first year as a business, so its really fun to help them get some publicity through my store. Its been really fun having a business and being able to incorporate that in all the fund raising things I do.
