Mosquito Spraying Scheduled For This Week In Reading

READING, MA — The East Middlesex Mosquito Control Project will be spraying for mosquitoes Thursday, July 30, in Reading.

The spraying will affect the following areas: Sanborn Lane, Emerson Street, Pasture Road, Fairchild Drive, Van Norden Road, Grove Street, Lowell Street, Forest Street, Dustin Road, Berkeley Street, Bond Street, and Mineral Street.

The spraying will be between sunset and 11:30 p.m. and will be from a truck-based aerosol sprayer.

If residents see a spray truck approaching, they are advised to go indoors for a few minutes while the spray dissipates. Residents are also advised to close windows.

If postponed due to weather, residents can expect spraying to be rescheduled for the following week.
