The Reading Education Foundation is excited to welcome Mike Foley, Lori Foley, and Laura O’Neill to their new positions on the REF Executive Board of Directors. They will join Deb Gilburg who currently serves as Vice President.
Mike Foley, RCB RMHS Branch Manager and former Treasurer of the REF, was recently voted President of the Foundation after current President Christine Kelley announced she would be stepping down, but would remain as an active board member.
Of his new position, Mike Foley stated, “Through my work at RCB’s educational office at RMHS, I have been inspired by the work of the faculty, staff, teachers, and students. The goal of the Reading Education Foundation is to encourage innovation, energy, and passion in our teachers so that students can learn in exciting new ways through grants that take the classroom outside of the box. I am excited to take on this leadership role within REF.”
