North Reading competed in a Cross Country meet on Wednesday.

North Reading competed against Hamilton-Wenham and Triton in a Cross Country meet at Patton Park on Wednesday afternoon. 

The girls’ cross-country team was defeated by . Hamilton-Wenham is working on its seventh straight undefeated season. North Reading ended up with 50 points, the same as Triton. Hamilton-Wenham won with 15 points.

The top three North Reading girls were Nicole Roberts (9th overall) 22:04, Briana Goddard (11th overall) 22:53 and Brittany Leonard (19th overall) 23:57.

The boys’ team lost to Hamilton-Wenham. North Reading ended up with 34 points, Triton with 31 and Hamilton-Wenham with 20 points.

The top three North Reading boys were Tyler Reiss 18:12 (4th overall), Matt Okscin 18:47 (8th overall) and Eli Spicer (9th overall) 18:49.
