- Social media played a big role in keeping people informed about developments during . Shortly after the incident was reported, North Reading Patch posted information to its Facebook page before a team of reporters headed to the scene. Meanwhile, reader Dave Richards added comments to that post, providing updates from the scanners as they became available. We owe a big thanks to Dave for helping us pass along timely updates.
