  • On Tuesday, we asked our Facebook followers where they were during the April Fools' Day snowstorm of 1997. Deb Luciano said she was trying to go on the interview of her life at Fidelity Investments. In the middle of the storm, she trekked to Boston and landed the job.
  • Continuing the comment thread on the April Fools' Day storm, Lynne Nyhan Alley was on a free vacation in Cancun during the storm when her family told her about the two feet of snow the area was receiving. Heather Wright also was in a warmer climate, as she said she was in Florida during that storm.
  • On Sunday night, we posted a photo of pink flamingos in someone's front yard and asked our readers if they knew why the plastic birds were gracing a lawn with their presence. Dawn-Marie Owen Doke got it right, saying it was for the .
