St. Charles elementary school and high school, graduated in 1943.

Obituary from Lynch-Cantillon Funeral Home.
Eleanor Ann (Murphy) Fucarile passed away Sunday, December 21st after a lingering illness. The beloved wife of Joseph R. Fucarile Sr., she was eighty-nine years of age.
Born in Woburn, she was one of three children born to the late William H. and Katherine (Walsh) Murphy. Raised in the Highlands section of the city, she attended St. Charles Elementary and High School, graduating with the Class of 1943. Following high school she was introduced to Joe Fucarile, through mutual friends. They courted for a bit and married in 1949. Joe was enlisted in the Air National Guard and shortly after their first child arrived, he was assigned to Iceland, later Germany, and then home again! They had made their home in the South End and in 1956, and two children later, they took up residence in Reading. The children began school and Mrs. Fucarile began working at Austin Preparatory, where she was the Assistant to the Headmaster for twenty-five years.

When the children were growing up the family always took a week’s driving vacation to somewhere of interest, i.e. Williamsburg or World’s Fair in NY, and then day trips to the different beaches along the coast line.
After the children were grown and Eleanor and her husband settled into retirement, they travelled extensively! Panama Canal, Cruises to Bermuda, Alaska, Carribean, and the River Boat down the Mississippi, they really had a ball and did it all!
