Officials Honored for Traffic Initiatives

Reading, MA - Two Reading officials were honored at the AAA regional awards in Burlington last month.

Jonathan Reid of the Reading DPW was named the AAA Traffic Safety Hero of the Year. John is committed to traffic safety. He is tenacious and dedicated to the installation, replacement, and repair of all traffic signs throughout the community. As a result of the clear and properly posted signs.

Traffic and Safety Officer David Savio of the Reading Police Department was issued the AAA Gold Award for his tenacious traffic safety programs. This is the third year in a row the Reading Police has received the highest honor (Gold).
