Only New England performance of "A Christmas Story the Musical" presented by NRHS Masquers

Original cast of the classic "Christmas Story" film to join the audience at the premiere performance on Fri., Dec. 4. Tickets on sale Nov 9.

Holiday magic comes direct to North Reading this December with the NRHS Masquers’ exclusive debut of the beloved holiday tale, “A Christmas Story.” The musical will light up the stage at the new Performing Arts Center on Dec. 4, 5, 11, and 12. There is no better family-friendly show in the entire Boston area to celebrate the holidays.

Under the direction of the North Reading High School Masquers, this cast features talented students from grades 4 through 12, in the only high school production of “A Christmas Story” in New England this year.

To add to the fun, the original cast of the classic Christmas Story film will join the audience at the premiere performance on Friday, Dec. 4. Patrons who purchase the Premium Comic Con ticket package on Friday, December 4 that night will also receive a free one-day pass to Northeast Comic Con, at Shriners’ Auditorium in Wilmington, running Dec. 5 and 6.

There are four chances to catch “A Christmas Story:” Friday, Dec. 4, 7: 30 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 5, 4 p.m.; Friday, Dec. 11, 7:30 p.m.; and Saturday, Dec. 12, at 4 p.m. Ticket prices are $15 for adults, $12 for students, and $10 for senior citizens. Premium Comic Con tickets are $25 and available for Dec. 4 only.

New this year, the Masquers offers convenient online ticketing. Ticket purchases begin Monday, Nov. 9 at 6 p.m. at www.masquers.weebly.com. (click the purchase tickets link) or www.ticketstage.com.

For those who prefer not to purchase online, the box office will be open at the NRHS Performing Arts Center Monday, Nov. 9 from 6 p.m.-8 p.m. and each Monday at this time through the shows. While credit cards are accepted online, only cash or checks payable to NRHS Masquers are accepted at the box office. Finally, purchase forms will be available during school hours at the NRHS main office. Leave your complete form at the office with payment, and box office staff will assign the best available seats to your party. Tickets will be waiting for you at will call the night of the show.
