READING - The Massachusetts Department of Transportation (MassDOT) is announcing it will be conducting overnight pavement marking operations on Route 28 (Main Street) starting at the railroad tracks just before the intersection of Ash Street and Bolton Street and finishing at the Reading/Stoneham town line. The work will be conducted from Monday, October 4, through Friday morning, October 8, during overnight hours from 8:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. the following morning.
A minimum of one travel lane in each direction will be maintained at all times. The temporary lane closures and occasional detours are necessary to allow the contractor to safely and effectively install roadway pavement markings.
