Patricia Baltier Passes Away

Patricia B. (Murphy) Baltier, of Reading, passed away peacefully on Friday April 13th. She was 97 years of age.

Born in Charlestown, Patricia was the beloved daughter of the late Philip and Catherine (McCarthy) Murphy. Patricia was an avid reader, a great cook and a very good dancer. She loved to play bridge and volunteered for many years at the Reading Senior Center. Patricia worked for Reading Public Schools for 17 years at Killiam Elementary and Pearl St. Schools

Patricia was the beloved wife of the late Michael A. Baltier. Loving mother of Michael Baltier, Matthew Baltier, Terese Baltier and Mark Baltier and his wife Kim. Devoted grandmother of Kurt, Kendra, Anthony and Richard. Dear aunt of Nancy Leonard.

A Funeral Mass Celebrating Patricia's Eternal Life will be held on Thursday April 19th in St. Athanasius Church, 300 Haverhill St., Reading at 10:30 am. Interment Forest Glen Cemetery, Reading. Family and friends are kindly invited to gather and share memories with the family on Wednesday April 18th from 4-8 pm in the Parish Activity Center at St. Athanasius Church.
