A pedestrian was struck while crossing Main Street near Starbucks at about 3 p.m. Tuesday.The person was taken to an area hospital.

Reading Police closed Main Street to all traffic. The road remained closed at 3:30 p.m. as police investigate the crash. The road is closed at Ash Street and Summer Street and all traffic is being detoured off Route 28.
