Peter Liebermann Passes Away
Longtime Reading resident was a super fan of the Boston Bruins & Red Sox.

Peter Fredrick Liebermann of Reading passed away on Oct. 20. He was 76.
Peter was born on June 12, 1942 the son of the late Alfred and Phyllis Liebermann. He had a younger sister Linda, whom he adored. He was born and raised in Melrose. He enjoyed helping his dad, a brick mason on his jobs, mowing neighborhood lawns and skating on the local ponds with his buddies.
As a young man, he married the love of his life, Ingrid. They moved to Reading, where they brought up their three children and taught them what it meant to be a good man. He was an honest, simple family man who loved his wife, his children and most of all, his grandchildren. He took his family to his family cottage in Maine every summer, where he loved all things outdoors, namely the lake and the mountains. He enjoyed swimming, boating, scenic drives & mountain climbing and was an avid water skier. He was a super fan of the Boston Bruins & Red Sox.

Peter graduated from Northeastern and worked as a land surveyor and took pride in showing off his various jobs around the state along some of his scenic drives.
His kind and gentle soul will be missed by many, but mostly by his wife, Ingrid, his son Karl and his wife Jennifer, his daughter, Christine, and his daughter Karen and her husband Anthony, as well as his grandchildren, Dylan, Sophia, Max, Kayla, Anthony, Vincent and Nicholas.

After living with Alzheimers during his final years, he died peacefully on October 20th. A Funeral service celebrating his life will be held Wednesday, Oct. 24 at the Douglass, Edgerley and Bessom Funeral Home 25 Sanborn St. (corner of Woburn St.) Reading at 12 p.m. Burial to follow at Wood End Cemetery, Reading. A visitation will be held at the funeral home prior to the service from 10-12 p.m.
