PMC Kid Riders in Reading

Be a part of one of the biggest events of the year.

In the last three years, the PMC Reading Kids Ride attracted more than 450 riders and raised more than $40,000 for Dana Farber Cancer Institute, all while having a fun activity filled day with friends and family! This year's ride is dedicated to all of our family and friends who have battled cancer.

This PMC Kids Ride is for ages pre-K through eighth grade and takes place on Sunday, June 22, at the Wood End Elementary School in Reading.

"Many kids, many bikes, one mission: cure cancer. Kids of all ages (PreK to Grade 8 in Reading's Case) find fun, camaraderie, and inspiration in bringing us closer by the mile to the cure for cancer with donations to the Jimmy Fund at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute”.

"In our fourth year, we hope to attract 200 children, pre-kindergarten through eighth grade," said organizers on the fundraising page.

There is also a "Tikes on Trikes" ride for the younger kids.

Registration is at 9 a.m., and the event includes a raffle, auction, pizza party and kick-off celebration.
