Police Department Adds Community Services Officer
Kristen Staskiak has worked in the patrol division for nearly a decade.

READING, MA - The police department recently added a new position to its support services division.
Officer Kristen Stasiak has been selected as the new Community Service Officer for the department.
Stasiak has been with the Reading Police Department for nearly ten years in the patrol division. She is a certified RAD instructor, radKIDS instructor, and has trained many of the department’s newer officers as a field training officer.

Her fellow officers say she has been an asset to the department and that she is eager and excited to take on the new position in the department.
As the Community Service Officer, Stasiak will organize and facilitate police community events and represent the department with other town-run activities. She will be the liaison between the department and town businesses as well as many other administrative tasks within the department.
