Police Log: Arrest for Drug Possession

Tuesday, Aug. 19

At 3:57 p.m., police reported a loose dog in the area chasing a postman on Laurel Lane.

At 5:17 p.m., police received a report of larceny where a female reported her Dell laptop computer was stolen from her residence on Pennsylvania Avenue.

At 7:10 p.m., police arrested Michael A. Caswell, 79 Spring St. of Stoneham, for illegal possession of controlled substances. Police received a report of Caswell yelling at youths as they were passing by on Track Road and Harvest Road.

At 8:08 p.m., police reported a deer was stuck by a motor vehicle and was injured on the side of Short Street.

Wednesday, Aug. 20

At 10:30 a.m., police reported a found loose coonhound named Carper on County Road.

At 12:22 p.m., police reported a loose labrador in the area near Whittier Road.

At 1:15 p.m., police were notified of a large pothole at the intersection of Main Street and Summer Avenue.

At 2:23 p.m., police reported a motor vehicle crash with injuries on Main Street.
