Police: Man Doing Drugs in Yard; Dog Locked in Car; One Arrest

- At 8 a.m., police attempt to serve a warrant, High Street and Depot parking area
- At 8:51 a.m., police responded to a call about two opossums in a trash barrel in a backyard on Warren Ave.
- At 10:57 a.m., a woman visited the lobby to report a past B&E into her vehicle on Summit Drive
- At 11:05 a.m., a car crash was investigated by police on Walkers Brook Drive
- At 11:45 a.m., police recovered a stolen green Honda, with flat tires and no ignition, on Lakeview Ave.
- At 12:02 p.m., police responded to two dogs locked inside a white Jetta with the windows not open, CVS lot
- At 12:03 p.m., police responded to a call about a missing short-haired black and white cat
- At 12:18 p.m., police responded to a two-car crash with no injuries, Salem Street
- At 12:32 p.m., a resident called to complain that a man was in the yard doing drugs, Washington Street
- At 2:30 p.m., a complaint was received that contractors were giving the conservation commission a hard time, Johnston Circle
- At 3:24 p.m., police responded to a car crash on Haverhill Street, rotary area
- At 4:20 p.m., detectives executed a search warrant of 15 Winter St.
- At 4:25 p.m., a person in the lobby reported a missing bike
- At 4:41 p.m., a resident on Whitehall Lane reported an attempted phone scam
- At 5:10 p.m., police stopped a car, and the stop resulted in an arrest
- At 5:14 p.m., police responded to a complaint of erratic operation, Ash Street
- At 6:13 p.m., police responded to a call about a deceased red tail hawk
- At 9:26 p.m., police responded to a call about a man and woman yelling at one another, Haverhill Street
- At 10:05 p.m., an officer came upon a group of youths gathered on school property, Joshua Eaton Elementary
Brian Baksa, homeless, was arrested on July 1 on a warrant.
Michael Cocuzzo, 2 Oak St., Stoneham, was arrested on July 1 and charged with failing to stop for police and illegal possession of a Class E substance.
