Police Warn of Suspicious Man Talking to Young Girls
Reading Police said one 12-year-old girl was asked near the high school if she needed a ride home and more were stopped on Van Norden Road.

Reading Police are asking the public for information regarding a male driver who allegedly "followed and attempted to have a conversation with young girls" this week.
According to a press release, a group of 12-year-old girls complained that a male driver followed them down Van Norden Road around 9:30 p.m. Tuesday. The girls said the vehicle was small, white, low to the ground, had tinted windows, loud music, and the lights were off.
A 12-year-old girl later reported that at approximately 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday a similarly described vehicle stopped her on Forest Street near Reading Memorial High School and asked if she wanted a ride home. The girl said "no" and the driver then allegedly left.
