Preparatory Singing Program Entering Second Year
Do your kids love to sing? The Young Opera Preparatory Program will help your child find their voice.

Do you have a child that loves to sing between the ages of 5-8? Then The Young Opera Preparatory Program is ideal for helping your child find their voice as they learn to love the arts.
Held on Monday afternoon from 3:45 to 4:30 p.m. at 7 Upton Avenue in North Reading, MA, the program is under the direction of Marie Stultz, Founder and Artistic Director of the Young Opera Company of New England. This program for young children will train them to express themselves through professional vocal training, movement, acting, theory and reading through fine music.

Did you know children’s opera exists? The Young Opera Company, established in 2005 is entering its’ seventh distinguished season. Stultz is celebrating 36 years of training young singers in high quality music education in both opera performance and choral music. Stultz says the mission of YOCNE is to train elementary, middle and high school singers to achieve excellence in vocal technique and stage presence.
The preparatory program will train children to expand their abilities with confidence. YOCNE’S training ground will help your child develop vocal skills by incorporating different musical genres, styles and techniques.
