Progress Evident at M.F. Charles Building

It's a project that's been in the works for quite some time. But at the M.F. Charles building, is taking shape and the finish line is just around the corner.

Much of the scaffolding equipment was off of the building on Friday afternoon as construction workers continued work on the site.

The building will eventually contain businesses such as Orange Leaf, Northern Bank and Trust, Bunratty Tavern and D’Amici’s Bakery. In a previous Patch article, staff planner Jessie Wilson said the building isn't likely to be completed by the end of October, but should be by the end of the year.

“Once that is open, it’ll be a big change for Main Street," said Wilson in the September article.
