Update: Public's Assistance Sought In Search For Missing Reading Woman
Dorothy Brownsberger, 48, of Reading, has not been seen or heard from since leaving her home at 9:00 a.m. on Sunday, September 20.

State and local officials are asking for the public’s help in locating a missing Reading woman.
Dorothy Brownsberger, 48, of Reading, has not been seen or heard from since leaving her home at 9 a.m. on Sunday, Sept. 20.
Police put out the call to the public to be on the lookout for Brownsberger on Monday afternoon. By early Tuesday afternoon, state and local police were still getting out the word about the missing woman.

The Reading police log stated she was possibly suicidal. Her husband, Ben, said she went to the store and left him at home with her son, according to WHDH news.
Authorities are also asking the public to be on the lookout for Brownsberger’s vehicle, a 2007 yellow Hummer with the Massachusetts registration plate 785JP1.

Brownsberger is described as a 5’04” white female, weighing 105 pounds, with long brown hair.
Anyone who may have seen Brownsberger or her vehicle is asked to contact Reading Police at 781-944-1212.
Middlesex District Attorney Marian Ryan, the Reading Police Department, and the Massachusetts State Police are working together to locate Brownsberger.
