RCB President & CEO Julieann M. Thurlow Ranks in the Top 100 Women-Led Businesses for the Second Time

Reading Cooperative Bank is proud to announce that for the second time, President & CEO Julieann M. Thurlow has been ranked in The Boston Globe’s Top 100 Women-Led Businesses in Massachusetts, this year being ranked as #52. The list is focused on MA businesses that are led by women and have had a significant impact in their community and the state economy. Several factors are analyzed, including revenue, number of full-time employees in MA, diversity, and innovative projects.

“I am very pleased to see our Bank, Reading Cooperative Bank ranked again as a Top 100 Women-Led Business in Massachusetts. As a customer owned business, we work hard to make sure everything we do is in the best interest of our communities, customers, and employees,” said Thurlow.

Thurlow joined RCB in 1993 and became president in 2006. Since that time, the bank’s assets have grown from $78 million to nearly $500 million and the number of branches has doubled from four to eight. She is also active in the banking community as the Council Chair at the American Bankers Association and a member of the Massachusetts Bankers Federal Liaison Committee, Bankers’ Bank Northeast, and the Cooperative Central Bank of Massachusetts.
