RCB Sponsors David K. Johnson Foundation's Still Alice Screening

Reading Cooperative Bank is proud to support the David K. Johnson Foundation through a $1,000 sponsorship of its November 4th screening and author Q&A of Still Alice, a movie about early-onset Alzheimer’s.
“I am very proud to be working with the DKJ Foundation. For individuals and their families affected by Alzheimer’s, it can be difficult to find support, but the DKJ Foundation provides invaluable guidance and information that these families need,” said Gregory Ryan, RCB SVP/ Chief Lending Officer and board member of the DKJ Foundation.
The David K. Johnson Foundation was founded in 2001 by Bruce and Gregg Johnson in honor of their father who was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s at age 60. Their mission is to raise money for and awareness of the disease and provide resources and guidance to other families affected by Alzheimer’s. In addition, all funds raised by the foundation are donated to either the Cure Alzheimer’s Fund, Sanborn Place Home Care & Day Services, or the David and Susan Johnson Memorial Scholarship Fund to further research, education, and support initiatives.
