Reading Civic Band presents: Death & Destruction

Reading Civic Band, a 30-peice symphonic wind ensemble, will perform Sunday, Nov 15 at 3:00 At First Congregational Church, 25 Woburn St.

RCCB will play their most disastrous (themed) concert to-date. Director/Conductor Lucinda Ellert notes that, ”Seems like the bad guys get all the good music”. With that in mind, and with Halloween barely behind us, RCCB will play pieces such as Night on Bald Mountain, Danse Macabre, Funeral March for a Marionette, and Frank Tichelli’s Vesuvius. The centerpiece of the show will be ”Godzilla Eats Las Vegas”.

RCCB is an all-volunteer, non-profit group dedicated to making Really Good Music, that is both local and affordable. Admission for adults is $12 at the door, which goes solely to cover production costs. Come out and join the Reading Civic Band as we make light of the darkness.
