Reading Cooperative Bank Donates to Reading Food Pantry

Reading, MA - Reading Cooperative Bank employees recently made a donation to the Reading Food Pantry in connection with their monthly Dress Down for Charity Day. RCB employees are invited to “dress down” in exchange for a contribution to a local charitable organization. The employee contributions are matched by the Reading Cooperative Charitable Foundation.

“The Reading Food Pantry is a staple in the community. It’s an organization that we are happy to support and we know that our donation will be put to good use to provide for families in need,” said Sandy Convery, Branch Manager at the Bank.

The Reading Food Pantry is located at the Old South Methodist Church, Salem Street. Residents interested in visiting the Food Pantry should contact Kerry Valle, Town of Reading Caseworker, at (781) 942-6659. For donations you may drop-off dry goods during their hours or contact the Food Pantry directly at (781)-944-8486.
