Reading Cooperative Bank Gives Away Two Amazon Kindles in Woburn Parade Raffle
Reading, MA – Reading Cooperative Bank would like to congratulate Steve Peguero and Laura Lambert on winning brand new Amazon Kindles through RCB’s Woburn Halloween Parade Raffle. Reading Cooperative Bank employees and their families came together to create a Willy Wonka themed float for this year’s annual Woburn Halloween Parade, which was held on October 26th. Characters included Willy Wonka, Augustus Gloop, Veruca Salt, Oompa Loompas, and more!
Of course no Halloween parade is complete without a copious amount of treats, and that is exactly what RCB brought to the event. Characters and volunteers passed out over 12,000 pieces of candy, each labeled with a lucky golden sticker that included instructions on how to enter a raffle to win one of two brand new Kindle Fires. Following the parade RCB received 71 entries to win the Amazon Kindles, from which our two lucky winners were chosen. Reading Cooperative Bank employees enjoyed the parade and look forward to partaking for years to come.
“The event was a complete success. I knew the parade was a popular event, but it was truly amazing to be right in the center of the action, in the parade! For us, at a community bank like RCB, it is great to see a community come together and show tremendous spirit for local events such as the parade,” says Shanna Cahalane, Vice President and Director of Marketing.
