Reading Cooperative Bank Makes Charitable Donation to Merrimack Valley Elders

Reading Cooperative Bank recently made a major donation to Elder Services of the Merrimack Valley, Inc. in support of its Elder Care Fund. This gift supports a unique local program that provides emergency assistance to cover bare necessities for elders when no other help can be found.
The RCB Charitable Foundation leadership recognized that this winter’s epic storms were exceedingly hard on the fixed income elder community as ice and snow removal and heating costs soared.
“Elder Services of the Merrimack Valley Elder Services is deeply committed to ensuring that all community members get what they need to live comfortably and safely in their homes. Here at RCB, we share their values and desire to support those in need. We are grateful for the work they do in our communities” said Julieann Thurlow, President and CEO of Reading Cooperative Bank.
