ICYMI: Reading Football Starts Season Ranked Among Best in State

The Rockets face perennial powerhouse BC High to start the season.

There are high expectations for the Reading Rockets football team, both locally and across the state this year.

Last year, the team was 8-3, ending the season with a loss to Haverhill in the Division 2 North sectional semifinals.

ESPN Boston sees a lot of upside to the Rockets, ranking them 18 in their preseason state poll and touting the return on Corey DiLoreto at quarterback.
