Reading Garden Club Moves to the Town Common

Have you been wondering where to buy your geraniums this year?  Wonder no more because the Reading Garden Club has moved their annual Geraniums and More Plant Sale on Saturday, May 16th (rain or shine) to the Town Common.  Geraniums, annuals, vegetables, and much sought after members’ perennials will be available.  Have a sweet tooth?  The Bake Sale will be back as well with lots of sweet treats to entice you.  Sales will begin at 9 AM and end at 1 PM.

This year the Garden Club is partnering with the Reading Cultural Connection to showcase their talents as well.  Throughout the day, there will be presentations by the Colonial Chorus Players, Reading Art Association, Reading Concert Band and other groups for all to enjoy.

Since the Reading Garden Club is focusing on educating the public on the plight of the Monarch Butterfly and its relationship to the milkweed pod, the Reading Historical Society, Reading Library, and Creative Arts will provide information and activities to inform the public.
