Reading Gets Another Shot At L-S Lacrosse
Rockets have been eliminated by defending champs last two years.

For Lincoln-Sudbury it's another game on the road to a potential third straight state title. For Reading, it's an opportunity to erase bad memories.
Two years ago the Reading boys entered the MIAA Division 1 North lacrosse tournament at 18-0 and filled with high hopes. It all ended in a 20-7 loss to Lincoln-Sudbury in the semifinals. Last year the Rockets were 17-1 and after wins over North Andover and Billerica, Lincoln-Sudbury awaited them in the sectional final. The result, a 19-9 loss.
Wednesday at 5 p.m. in Sudbury the Rockets get a third shot at beating the now two-time defending state champions. L-S entered the 2017 tournament seeded No. 1 at 15-1, and beat Billerica in the quarterfinals. The Warriors only loss was to Summit High School of New Jersey back in April.
