Reading Lights Up for the Holidays on Sunday

The 24th annual Holiday Lighting Festival runs from 2 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Get ready for the holidays with the Reading-North Reading Chamber of Commerce’s 24th Annual Holiday Lighting Festival this Sunday.

The festival takes place from 2 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. and culminates with Santa lighting the lights on Reading Common at 4:30 p.m.

  • Family Zumba to holiday music on Haven Street from 2:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.
  • An Ugly Holiday Sweater Contest on Haven Street at 3 p.m. sponsored by the Reading Municipal Light Plant. There will be one winner for adults and one for kids.
  • A hay wagon, trolley rides, holiday characters, ice sculptures, strolling carolers, a bounce house, refreshments, Santa visits, and music on Reading Common.
  • The holiday stroll beginning at 4 p.m. at the Reading Train Depot.
