Reading Police Seek To ID Credit Card Theft Suspect

Police are seeking to identify a suspect accused of using another person's credit card to purchase nearly $1,000 worth of merchandise.

READING, MA — Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a suspect in a recent credit card theft and larceny.

A Burlington resident reported to Reading police on Jan. 3 that $945 in electrical and lighting equipment had been charged to a credit card issued in their name on Dec. 3.

The victim said that while they had signed up for the credit card, they had never received a physical version.

The purchase was made at a store in Reading.
