READING, MA – A man saved a woman from a burning vehicle with a baseball bat after she crashed into a pole on Salem Street, according to reports.
Salem is closed at Pearl Street and power will be cut for repairs, police said. Power is expected to be out for about 15 minutes for 1,300 customers, the Reading Municipal Light Department said.
