Are you ready to take on one of the more scenic peaks in Massachusetts? Join us for this day hike through old growth forests, streams and alpine meadows to catch views of Mount Monadnock, the Berkshires and the Boston skyline. This moderate hike climbs more than 750 feet with sections of steeper trail, rocky trail and will take approximately two hours to reach the summit where we’ll enjoy lunch and the scenery. Children 10-16 will meet at the Reading Memorial High School Field House Parking Lot and travel by bus to the state park. Be prepared with sturdy footwear and a day pack to hold water and a bag lunch.
