Reading resident hired to lead Citizens Bank Security Alarm Industry Banking Group
Ken Mooney joins as part of a focused effort to expand Citizens' commercial banking capabilities in the security alarm industry
Citizens Bank announced today the hiring of Christopher E. Needham and Kenneth J. Mooney as Managing Directors of Citizens’ Security Alarm Industry Banking team.
Based in Boston, Needham and Mooney join veteran Citizens banker Jane Westrich as part of a focused effort to expand Citizens’ commercial banking capabilities serving companies in the security alarm industry and other similar recurring revenue business lines.
Most recently, Mooney and Needham were executives at Seguin Partners, LLC, a Massachusetts-based private equity firm that Needham co-founded.

Mooney began his banking career with State Street Bank and has also worked at Citizens Bank, Sovereign Bank and as President of Applied Materials Science, Inc.
He earned his bachelor’s degree and MBA from Suffolk University.
