Reading will hold a Special Town Meeting on Feb. 23 to address a number of warrant articles involving financial decisions for the town.
In particular, voters will be asked to allow the town to claim additional road project funds recently released by Gov. Charlie Baker (Article 4); adjust the payment structure and borrowing for the new library (Article 3); and amend the FY 15-24 Capital Improvements Program to allow the purchase modular classrooms for Reading Public Schools and conduct improvements at Morton Field in FY15 rather than putting it off until FY16 and beyond (Article 5).
The full Special Town Meeting Warrant is available on the Town of Reading website.
