Reading Teen Charged In Crash That Damaged Property: Police
A juvenile driver was charged following an accident last week, according to police.
READING, MA — A 17-year-old is facing charges following a Thursday night crash, police said.
Police responded at 11:59 p.m. to a Grove Street location for a single-car accident.
Police found a black pickup on its side on the lawn.

Following an investigation, police found that the juvenile driving the truck was driving fast given the weather conditions.
The teen remained at the scene of the crash and cooperated with the investigation in the presence of his parents, police said.

The crash caused damage to the property. No one was injured.
The teen was charged with negligent operation, marked lanes violation, and speed greater than reasonable.
