Reading's Chris Dixon Passes Away

Chris was a die-hard New England sports fan and loved everything Patriots, Red Sox, Bruins and Celtics.

Christopher Dixon of Reading passed away on Thursday, Jan. 24 at Winchester Hospital. He was 37 years of age.

Born on March 22, 1981 in Cambridge, Christopher is the loving son of the late Richard Dixon and Carol (O'Connell) Dixon. Chris was a warm and caring son, brother, husband, father, grandson, uncle, cousin and friend. He will be truly missed by all who knew him.

Chris was a die-hard New England sports fan. He loved everything Patriots, Red Sox, Bruins and Celtics. Chris was the beloved husband of Melissa (Colomba) Dixon. He was the devoted and dedicated father of Christian, Natalia, Simona and Milena. Chris was the cherished grandson of Nancy O'Connell and her late husband Gerald. The dear brother of Tim Dixon, Alexis Rodriguez and Jaime Rodriguez, he is also lovingly survived by many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Family and friends are cordially invited to gather and share memories with the Family on Wednesday, Jan. 30th from 4-8 pm in the Barile Family Funeral Home, 482 Main St. (RT 28) Stoneham. In honor of Chris, please wear your favorite Boston sports team shirt.

A Funeral Service Celebrating Chris' Eternal Life will be held on Thursday, January 31st at 11 am in Calvary Christian Church, 47 Grove St., Lynnfield. Please go directly to the church.
