Reading's Dorothy M. Kasperwicz Passes Away

Dorothy M. (Perry) Kasperwicz, a resident of Reading for over 60 years, died April 19, 2019 at the Benchmark Senior Living in Woburn. She was 92 years of age. Dorothy was born in Somerville on November 29, 1926, the daughter of Serafim and Honorina (Caloura) Perry. Dorothy was a member of St. Agnes Church in Reading.

Dorothy was the beloved wife of the late Walter S. Kasperwicz. Loving Aunt of James R. Bentubo and his wife Maria of Woburn, Dottie Gannon and her husband Joe of Cambridge and Carol Komola of Needham. She is also survived by several loving grandnieces and grandnephews.

Her funeral will be held from the Douglass, Edgerley and Bessom Funeral Home, 25 Sanborn (corner of Woburn St.), Reading on Thursday, April 25 at 9:30 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Athanasius Church, 300 Haverhill St., Reading at 10:30 a.m. Burial to follow at Laurel Hill Cemetery, Reading.

Funeral home visiting hours will be held on Wednesday 5-8 p.m.
