Reading's Paul Carter Passes Away

Longtime Reading resident loved to watch hockey, football, baseball, golf or any sport.

An Obituary from Barile Family Funeral Home:

Paul E. Carter, of Reading, passed away on Friday Jan. 25th. He was 66 years of age.
Born in Winchester, Paul was the loving son of the late Frederick and Mary (Richards) Carter. Paul was an avid car enthusiast. He enjoyed driving and fixing cars. He was a dedicated sports fan. He loved to watch hockey, football, baseball, golf or any sport. He loved his job. He worked as a truck driver for over 37 years for Ideal Transportation.

Paul is the beloved husband of Linda (Button) Carter. Devoted father of Jason Carter and his wife Caitlin, Jeremy Carter, Joseph Carter and his wife Elizabeth. Loving grandfather of Benjamin, Margaret Mary and Jack. Dear brother of Gale Lloyd and her late husband Walter, Frederick Carter Jr. and his wife Debbie and Ann Dillaway and her husband David. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are kindly invited to gather and share memories with the family on Monday Jan. 28th, in the Doherty Barile Family Funeral Home, 11 Linden St., Reading from 4-8 pm. Parking attendants available.

A Funeral Service Celebrating Paul's Eternal Life will be held on Tuesday, Jan. 29th, at 11 am in the funeral home. Please consider donations in memory of Paul to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701.
