Regional Dialogue on Opioid Abuse to be Held in Reading

7 p.m. Oct. 23 at the Reading Memorial High School Field House

The Reading Coalition Against Substance Abuse, the Mystic Valley Public Health Coalition and Sen. Jason Lewis will host community discussion about opioid abuse and prevention at 7 p.m. Oct. 23 at the Reading Memorial High School Field House.

The Reading Coalition Against Substance Abuse is a coalition of youth and adults living and working in Reading who promote a safe, healthy, vibrant community.

The goal is to have an open conversation with individuals from all sectors who have been impacted by or who have an interest in the issue of substance abuse and prevention. The feedback that is gathered through this event promises to be incredibly useful for the community to explore ways to more effectively address this serious and growing issue on multiple levels.
