Natick, MA – May 23, 2014 – RE/MAX of New England is pleased to announce that several RE/MAX Broker/Owners have been named to RISMedia’s 26th Annual Power Broker Report, which ranks the Top 500 Brokers from across the country based on 2013 transactions. Brokers include Steve Chuha, Eileen Hamblin, Linda O’Koniewski and Paul Mydelski at RE/MAX Leading Edge – Winchester in Massachusetts, Jeff Wright at RE/MAX Right Choice Real Estate in Trumbull, Connecticut, and Richard Zompa at RE/MAX Preferred, Town & Country and Properties in Rhode Island.

More than 1,000 responding Brokers participated in RISMedia’s annual power broker survey and reported a collective $925,032,639,680 in sales volume for 2013 and a total of 3,244,460 closed transactions. That is an increase of more than $150 billion in sales volume and more than 250,000 transactions over 2012.

According to the report, the top five most influential groups of buyers in 2013 included: Move-up buyers (48%), First-time Buyers/Millenials (25%), Investors (8%), Luxury Buyers (8%), and New Construction Buyers (4%). The top revenue-building services in 2013 included: Mortgage Services, Title Services, Home Warranty Services, Inspection Services, Homeowners Insurance and Property Management Services.
