Residents Invited to Meeting Addressing Reading's Economic Development

The first public meeting of the Reading Strategic Economic Development Action Planning Project is coming.

If you want to get in on the ground floor of planning the economic future of Reading, your meeting is coming up.

On April 1 at 6:30 p.m., the Town of Reading and the Metropolitan Area Planning Council will hold the first public meeting of the Reading Strategic Economic Development Action Planning Project.

The meeting is intended to address “retail, office, residential, and mixed use development potential of four priority areas in town.”

Specifically, topics at the meeting will include an overview of the four priority areas, results of market analyses related to retail, office and residential market potential of the areas, and a discussion of the design and density preferences for the areas.
