Residents Report Finding Needle, Drug Paraphernalia Over the Weekend

The following is a look at some of the calls handled by the from Friday through Sunday. The information is open to the public.
Friday
At 12:37 a.m., a Main Street resident reported hearing someone outside of her residence. Police searched the area and were unable to find anything suspicious.

At 2:12 a.m., police responded to a report of suspicious activity at a Railroad Avenue address.
At 1:25 p.m., a resident reported being the victim of fraud. Detectives followed up with an investigation.

At 4:18 p.m., a caller reported a wire down on New Street.
At 8:29 p.m., police responded to a report of a motor-vehicle accident in the parking lot at on Main Street.
At 10:17 p.m., a caller reported that the drivers of two cars were spinning their tires in the parking lot at . The cars were gone on arrival.
Saturday
At 1:52 a.m., a Marblehead Street resident reported that a youth possibly put something in his mailbox that exploded. Police found no evidence of an explosion, but did observe malicious damage to the mailbox.
At 12:49 p.m., a Susan Drive resident reported finding a hypodermic needle in front of her home. Police confiscated the needle.
At 1:23 p.m., police responded to a medical-aid call at a Pomeroy Road address.
At 1:24 p.m., a caller reported finding drug paraphernalia on Emerson Road.
At 1:54 p.m., a caller reported an elderly female drinking alcohol in a car in the parking lot of 72 Main St. Police spoke with the woman and reported not smelling any alcohol on her breath.
At 9:57 p.m., police conducted a welfare check at a Lowell Road address.
At 10:06 p.m., a Pine Glen Drive resident reported someone driving by the house and smashing a beer bottle in his driveway.
At 10:18 p.m., a caller reported hearing what sounded like a female crying near the McDonald’s parking lot. Police saw a couple of females walking up Route 28, but did not observe anything in the parking lot.
Sunday
At 3:08 a.m., police responded to a report of a disturbance at a Lowell Road address.
At 8:29 a.m., a Parker Drive reported damage to a $50 mailbox.
At 10:08 a.m., a resident reported that his iTunes account was charged without authorization.
At 12:38 p.m., a caller reported a truck idling in the parking lot.
At 5:16 p.m., police responded to a report of a disturbance at a Pilgrim Road address.
At 7:28 p.m., a resident reported a possible breaking and entering, although nothing was missing from the home. An investigation is ongoing, according to police.
