Reading Public Library hosts film discussion series.
The Reading Public Library encourages film fans to attend Rewind, the library's film discussion series. The group will discuss 'Blow Up,' a 1966 Academy Award-nominated film, directed by Michelangelo Antonioni and starring David Hemmings and Vanessa Redgrave on Thursday, September 30, at 7:00 p.m.
Copies of the film are available at the Library Circulation Desk and may be borrowed for one week. In addition, the library will hold a screening of the film on Saturday, September 18 at 1:00 p.m. in the Library Meeting Room. Drop in for a Saturday matinee, or borrow a copy of the DVD and watch it from the comfort of your own sofa!
The Rewind film discussion is led by J.C. Johnson, Archivist at the Gotlieb Center, Boston University. This film is rated R and is recommended for adults. Future film discussions in the series will take place on the last Thursday of each month. Call the Library or visit the library website (www.readingpl.org) for the title of the film and for others in the discussion series.
