Rising Stars Productions Seeks Pianist Intern

Rising Stars Productions seeks a Collaborative Pianist Intern for a one week musical theater camp in Gardner, MA. The ideal candidate would be a college undergraduate student pursuing a music degree, or a high school senior with exceptional accompanying skills. Applicants must be 18+, and have reliable access to transportation. The Collaborative Pianist Intern is a Junior Staff Member, working under our Staff Accompanist. This is a paid internship.

Dates: Monday, June 25-Friday, June 29, 2018
Required Hours: 8:45 am-2:00 pm daily with lunch break; final performance Friday, 6/29 at 7:00 pm (5:30 pm call time)
Location: First Congregational Church, 28 Green St., Gardner, MA
Stipend: $200

About Rising Stars Productions:
Our program is a musical revue, consisting of a variety of different Broadway numbers. Students rehearse with our directors and choreographer throughout the week in both large and small groups, accompanied by our pianists. The week culminates in a final performance that is open to the public. Our students range from ages 10-18. The ideal candidate for this position would have some experience accompanying musical theater and working with children in a musical/rehearsal setting. The week is very fast-paced, so the ability to learn music quickly and accurately is a must. Pianists will receive the music selections 2-3 weeks prior to the camp.
